Why Beyond Protocol Was Created
The contemporary educational landscape focuses almost exclusively on the technical metrics ofpsychedelic therapy. Curriculums prioritise psychological intake data, mechanical facilitation techniques and Western risk management. While these operational components are undeniably essential for baseline client safety, they represent only a tiny fraction of what is required to steward sacred medicines ethically.
Beyond Protocol was built to bridge this systemic gap. We are explicitly not a corporate training organisation or a conventional wellness retreat provider. We operate as an independent collective of ceremonialists, therapists, artists and decolonial scholars. This sacred medicine training was developed to offer a comprehensive alternative to Western clinical reductionism, centering prayer, reverence and deep relational depth. No. Beyond Protocol is explicitly not a standard certification factory. We do not look to create certified technicians who operate from a place of clinical detachment.
